Hosted by the Red Cross, the lighthearted theme is their take on the organisations annual fundraiser –the Big Cake Bake.

Cakes were for sale on entry but for $10 guests could enjoy a variety of goodies with tea and coffee.

Guests and the dedicated committee all got into the spirit of this year’s theme with most wearing quirky, decorated, or colourful hats.

And, if you did not have one there were plenty adorning the CWA hall.

All the money raised will be donated to one of the organisations current appeals.
