The awards, to be held on May 4 at the Singleton Civic Centre in a gala event hosted by TV personality Kerri-Anne Kennerley, celebrate its 30th anniversary this year.
To mark the special occasion, past category winners from the last three decades have been invited to attend, kicking off at 6.30pm.
Memorabilia from the past 30 years of awards will also be on display.
Singleton’s Outstanding Business Awards occur annually to recognise and celebrate business excellence and to publicise to the wider community the strength and diversity of business in the Singleton area.
They are open to any business operating in the Singleton LGA that has been in operation for a minimum of two years at time of entry, except for the Start-Up Superstar category.
Entries are submitted via an online portal through the NSW Chamber system, and are then rated online by independent judges.
The awards are divided into “Business” – Owner/Operator <5 Employees, Small Business < 20 Employees, Business >20 Employees, Start-Up Superstar, Innovation, Social Enterprise – and “Individual” – Employee, Apprentice, Young Entrepreneur, Business Leader.
