The workshop is about breeding and feeding to make more money and topics include:
- breeding better heifers and cows,
- improved breeder and heifer nutrition,
- developing a breeder goal
- using EBVs in your bull selection.
Guest speakers include Peter McGilchrist, University of New England – Meat Science and Jason Trompf, private consultant and Latrode University – Animal Production Systems.
Participation fee is $25/head as the event is subsidised by MLA and Hunter Local Land Services through the National Landcare Program.Lunch is provided.
