Police have announced a $500,000 reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest and prosecution of Tanya Lee Glover's alleged murderer. Her remains were found behind the wall of a Brisbane apartment block basement wrapped carefully in clothing and bedding in December 2022. Police worked for more than six months to identify the body that investigators believe had been hidden in the apartment block for almost 15 years. The vision and hearing impaired woman, who lived alone, had not been reported missing but police believe she was around 38-years-old when she disappeared. Police enquires suggest Ms Glover moved to Queensland from New South Wales in 2006 and lived in Fortitude Valley and surrounds until 2010. Her skeletal remains were identified through the National DNA Program for Unidentified and Missing Persons after maintenance workers found Ms Glover partially buried at the unit complex. Officers are treating the investigation as a homicide. Queensland minister for police Mark Ryan said it was a "very tragic story, sad on so many levels". "We want to deliver justice for Tanya Lee Glover," he said.
