The garden has been a joint project between school’s Aboriginal Culture Group, local elders, Hunter LLS and Singleton Landcare.
SPS’s Aboriginal Education Coordinator Julie Sullivan said the garden was a living resource providing students with first-hand experience of local native plants and would provide stimulus for developing knowledge about traditional Aboriginal life.
"The students were excited to have the plants in the ground and will soon be learning all about them," Ms Sullivan said.
