The club allows students to socialise with friends while having breakfast before class begins.
To introduce the new intake of Kindergarten students to the program, the school hosted a ‘Big Breaky’ on Friday March 17.
For the SPS community, giving students the opportunity to have a nourishing and wholesome breakfast is of paramount importance.
The Kindergarten students were treated to fresh fruits, pikelets, toast, banana bread and more to kick start their learning for the day.
Last year the Breaky Club hosted over 6000 students, a huge credit to the hard work and dedication of the staff and group of 40 parent and carer volunteers who keep the program going.
Along with the staff and volunteers, the program is made possible by the generous sponsorship and funding from the Singleton Neighbourhood Centre, the Heights Bakery, Glencoe and Yancoal.
This great initiative operates every morning before school and will continue to do so for the rest of the school year.
