It is the first time Cox and Taylor will pull on the Junior Cockatoos jersey but for Ryan it means he has regained his spot.
The trio have played plenty of rugby union together at a club level with the Singleton Bulls and as representative players.
Although this year they are playing at separate clubs - Cox is at the Hamilton Hawks while Taylor and Ryan are playing for Maitland.
However, the talented youngsters have consistently progressed through the Wildfires ranks together and the team has won the Country Championship on three occasions - in the U13’s, U14’s, and U15’s.
Along the way they have been coached by local legend, Anthony Partridge.
Their proud coach, Partridge, says it is a fantastic result.“Mitch [Cox] and Mick [Taylor] were unlucky to miss out last year and it’s great to see Timmy [Ryan] retain his spot,” he says.
“Another one of their Wildfire team mates Logan Millard from Branxton also made the side.”
The boys head to Hunters Hill for a four-day camp from June 29 to July 2 where the final team will be selected.
