And, last year’s A Grade winner, Nathan Bagnall, is in contention to win his 12th title.
This would see him equal the record of club legend Roger Worms.
The course was presented in perfect shape on Saturday, setting the scene for another great event.
The weekend’s daily sponsors were Savanah Estate Wines and the runner ups received some quality wines to help them celebrate.

Brad Kelly led the charge in A grade with his nett score of 65 winning by a healthy margin of 4 strokes from Daniel Storey.
Bob Morrissey shot the B grade’s best score with a 67 to beat home Luke Smith who fired a nett score of 69.
It was a closer affair in C grade with Matt Maher’s 67 just edging out Taj Vesper by the solitary shot.
Saturday’s Secret 9 competition first place was awarded to Luke Smith for his nett 31. The next three places went to Dan Storey, Martin Goadsby, and Aaron Goadsby.
Sunday dawned with ideal conditions after the course received a much needed dose of overnight rain. With the dam and hazards filled the course was sure to be a more difficult proposition.
Sunday’s A grade winner was Mark Forster who turned in another fine round to add to his first round of 74. Mark’s nett score was 69 and tied count back runner up Chad Vesper.
Chad’s scratch of 71 would be the day’s lowest.
Gary Evans fired the day’s lowest nett score; a 65 to win the B grade prize. Two shots behind was Steve Hewitt with a 69.
Frank Palmowski’s 67 was easily C grade’s best beating home runner up and new comer Nigel McKenzie who returned a card of 69.
Captain Mark Newman took out the day’s Secret 9 competition with 32. The next three places went to Dave Palmer, Nigel McKenzie, and Tony Rock.
After 36 holes the scratch and nett leaders in A, B, C grades are:
