And, Singleton Diggers is once again a major sponsor of the event.
The community based event offers participants the chance to compete in a variety of athletic activities tailored to all levels of skill and ability.
Besides the athletic events there will be live entertainment, laser tag and a BBQ lunch run by the Singleton Men’s Shed.
Over 120 people attended the games in 2016 and customer engagement manager, Sally Pereira, is hoping to see that number grow this year.
“We had a fantastic turn out last year with participants joining us from disability service providers, schools, youth groups and businesses across the Hunter region,” she says.
“Over the last three years the games have provided participants with a day of fun, the chance to make new friends and promoted a sense of achievement and inclusion.”
Singleton Diggers general-manager, Gerard McMillan, says the club is proud to be a part of the games again this year.
“The club’s motto is ‘Our Community, Our Future’ and Endeavour Group plays a vital role within the community,” he says.
“We at the Diggers appreciate the care, love and support the staff at Endeavour give their participants. I’m personally proud of my three staff members who volunteered their time assisting at the games last year as the saying goes ‘it’s in giving we receive’”.
