Due to the omnipresent rain over the weekend, there was not much cricket action in Singleton. The juniors did manage to get in their Friday night fixtures in but their representative round on Sunday was cancelled due to wet weather and the damage caused to Cook Park pitches by a vehicle gaining access to the grounds. However, The Argus did get some pictures of the rep teams at training:

U16's: Coached by Craig Knox, three members of the team, Isaac Barry (absent), Beau Parnell and Andrew Knox, have been selected in the HVJCC Bradman Squad.

In the seniors on Saturday only two second grade matches were played – one in Muswellbrook; the other in Denman. Unfortunately the match in Denman ended up being a wash out.  A draw was declared as Creeks were only able to face 10 overs after Denman posted a total of 10/201.  However, Valley’s trip to Muswellbrook proved more eventful with Nathan Levy making a sensational return to form for his new club. Batting at number three, he smashed out 180 runs making a healthy contribution to their winning total of 6/314.
