Training for season 2018 has already begun so be sure to get down to the Rugby Club on Thursday nights at 6pm. All new players welcome. Meanwhile, the junior club also has some special award winners to congratulate. The Ian Dunlop Club Player of the Year went to Jayden Duff after a stellar season which saw him selected in the NSW Gen Blue U16’s 1’s Rugby Union team. While the John (Fats) Halter Team of the Year went to the Under 11’s who were the HJRU minor premiers and were one game shy of a grand-final berth. Coached by Matt Merrick and his charges were: Jack Binnie, William Edwards, Lachlan Foster, Charlie Merrick, Lachlan Muddiman, Jackson Paniora, Nathan Vaughan, Thomas Cox, Hamish O'Brien, Hugh Partridge, Charlie Whalan, Max Stone, William Mitchell, Harry Brown, Hugo Williams, Tahi Dunn-Breakwall, Tyrone Salanoa, Max Morgan, Kye Hetherington, Noah Taylor and Kaleb Ward.
