With heatwave conditions expected over the course of this weekend, the Gym & Swim have announced they will extend opening hours until 8pm on Saturday January 20 and Sunday 21.

“With temperatures hitting above 40 degrees across the weekend, Council is happy to confirm that the Singleton Gym & Swim will remain open for an additional 2 hours on both evenings,” Acting General Manager, Mark Ihlein said.
“We encourage everyone to take advantage of the extended opening hours and to enjoy the water safely.”
Singleton Council urges everyone who will be spending time outdoors on Friday, Saturday or Sunday to prepare for the extreme heat.
Everyone is encouraged to drink plenty of water and wear sun safe clothing.
