Price, who was followed by Argentine Kevin Benavides and Frenchman Antoine Meo, moved up to third in the standings, as his teammate Joan Barreda Bort withdrew.
The Hunter local bounced back after a tough tenth stage, where he lost more than 50 minutes after getting taking a wrong turn in a river bed.
Though now, Price is sitting just 39 minutes from first place, and seven minutes away from second – a challenging feat, but perhaps not impossible for the talented rider.
More to come.
