This February, the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne ensemble from the famous German musical city of Cologne will return to the Sisters' Chapel for their 2018 Australian tour.
The concert features violin, flute and cello soloists including Vivaldi, JS Bach, Tchaikovsky and Paganini.
Scheduled for Saturday February 17, the performance will begin from 8pm. Tickets for the event are $40 for adults; $35 for seniors and pensioners; and $30 for student and children under 16. In 2016, this concert was a sell out, so Sacred Spaces are encouraging those interested to book tickets in advance.
On Sunday March 11, guests can enjoy a performance by the London Klezmer Quartet.
April will see the Newcastle Youth Orchestra delight audiences. This family friendly concert will showcase performances including ‘Peter and the Wolf’ and ‘Carnival of the Animals’.
In September, Lulo Reinhart of Germany and Bart Stenhouse of Australia will wow crowds with their renowned jazz music. The talented duo will perform on Wednesday September 12 from 7.30pm. October brings with it Josie and the Emeralds, while a classical guitar recital by Dennis van Rooyen is set for November.
