With Creeks finishing on the top ladder in second grade, they are set to take on Valley in the major semi at Cook 3.
And, after a solid win on Saturday over Valley, JPC will take on Denman in the minor semi at Cook 1.
However, JPC’s first grade side will not be seeing any finals action and offered little resistance against Valley during round 14 of the competition.
Right from the outset Valley were dominant with opening batsman, Jacob Carey, once again proving he is all class.
The consistent performer scored 126 runs and was well supported by fellow opener Dan Hayes (57).
Dan Storey also put in fine cameo. Taking to the crease after the fifth wicket fell, some big hitting saw him notch up 61(no).
There was also some big scores put on the board in the corresponding third grade match.
Congratulations to Valley player Jason Newberry (132no) and JPC’s Craig Knox (102no) on their tons.
