The day’s sponsors were our own Family Cuisine Family Restaurant and Stomp Wines.
These two great businesses are thanked for their generous support of the club.
Pint-sized Max Stone was this month’s winner firing a fine nett score of 65.
Stone is yet another one of our juniors doing great things on the course – beating home Glenn Brown who also shot a 65 but was unluckily beaten on a count back.
In all grades we saw the nett winner also winning the scratch prize.
A grader Allan Holz got back into form with a fine 72 nett 66 to take out his grade. Quickly getting back into his best form, Murray Considine had a 68 to take second place.
Glenn Brown was the B grade victor. Browns winning score of 65 was the result of a scratch score of 82.
C grader Kurt Afflick was the early leader for the Mug but was run down late in the day. His 89 nett 67 got him the grade win from Craig Cooke on 70.
The best putters on the day were awarded golf balls for their excellence. The best was Orchard Hills visitor Greg Rogers with an amazing 23 putts. The next three were Kev Erdmann (25), Mark Newman (25), and Craig Edwards (25).
This Saturday’s tournament is a 2 pin@ person Ambrose.
It is an interesting comp with 2 holes cut into each green and is always popular. Members are advised to enter early to avoid disappointment.
