Considine and Daniel make it two from two on Saturday

Last Saturday’s event at the Singleton Golf Club was a two Pin Ambrose Pairs. This popular competition attracted a large field. Having two holes cut on each green gave all our players the feeling of playing on an 18 hole course.

Murray Considine and Paul Daniel shot the winning nett score of 61.25 to make it 2 wins from 2 starts in recent Ambrose events.

Their win didn’t come easily as Matt Maher and Wayne Chandler shot the same score however a weaker back 9 had them beaten on a count back.

Dave Palmer teamed with Ethan Van Zyl to round up the placings. Their score was 61.75.

Considine and Daniel’s brilliant back 9 also had them take out the Secret 9 competition with 27.625. The next two teams to take a share of the purse were Graham Drennan and Ted Casey (29.25), and John Marcheff and Mal Newman (30.25).
