A big team of 25 swimmers represented the club at last weekend’s Intertown carnival at Muswellbrook.
Most swimmers came away with at least one ribbon and the club was placed third overall.
We did, however, end on a winning note with the senior girls taking out their relay.
Singleton hosts the next Intertown on Saturday, 17 November.
The club will be looking for a big roll out of swimmers and helpers on the day to make it as successful as possible.
For those interested in participating, please place your name on the list at the foyer noticeboard by this Friday.
For more details, ask a committee member or reply to this email.
The club’s first fundraiser for the season is cookie dough.
Not only does the club receive money for this, there are individual prizes based on the number of packs sold.
If you didn’t receive an order form last week, please pick one up from the registration desk this Friday.
Money and forms are due back by Friday, 9 November with delivery on Friday, 30 November.
Congratulations to Lachlan Jones, Tayla Pearce, Amy Phillips and Ryan Purkiss on their appointment as Club Captains.
No doubt all four of these senior swimmers will be fine ambassadors of the club throughout the season.
