Our youngest chefs took part in the greatest cook-off at the Singleton Youth Centre on Tuesday morning during the school holiday break.

Teams of two were required to cook one savoury and one sweet dish to later be judged by Mayor Cr Sue Moore and Council’s general manager, Jason Linane.
Starting with a big breakfast including bacon, eggs, sausages, baked beans and toast, then moving to sweet, scrumptious coconut chocolate cupcakes the teams cooked up a storm to impress the judges.
“It’s a yummy and a fun way to spend our school holiday break,” Megan Tanner and Grace Russel told us.
Staff at the venue are offering a variety of activities for children both in primary and high school these April school holidays as apart of their Youth Week celebrations.
