Eleven local businesses ended up contributing to the inaugural race on Thursday, and about 25 kids took to the streets, says Singleton Council’s Loren Arnot.
Loren is the youth services team leader and has spent a lot time co-coordinating the logistics of the event.
However, she is pleased with the how it all transpired.
And, the winning team were youngsters Megan Tanner and Grace Russel who were accompanied by their grandmothers.
This is just one of the many and varied events that are currently transpiring at the Singleton Youth Centre to celebrate Youth Week.
Today, the ‘Singleton Sings’ workshop is taking place which will culminate in a performance along with a family and youth disco.
Loren would like to thank:
