The Singleton Men’s Shed will be opening their doors on Friday but the workshop will be closed. This may sound contradictory to the purpose of the facility but only on the surface as this is set to be a purely social occasion. Committee member John Baker says they are trialling being opened from 10am to 1pm on Friday’s for a cuppa and a friendly chat. He says not everyone enjoys woodwork but can still enjoy the social side of the Men’s Shed.
