Blu’s School Of Dance competed at the 71st annual Tamworth Dance Eisteddfod over the June long weekend and brought home multiple wins in different categories.

A total of nine dancers made the trip to Tamworth to compete in the five day competition and were the only dance studio from Singleton to compete in the tough competition.
“It was really tough, the standard was so high, but everyone just performed so well. Plus it was a really fun competition as well,” Teacher and owner of studio, Simone Burrows says.
The results are:
- Open jazz group - third place;
- Open lyrical group - third place;
- Stephanie Noble - first place open acro solo, first place open classical solo, second place open lyrical;
- Jacinta Maher - second place open jazz, second place open contemporary, third place open lyrical;
- Lilah Sheath - first place 8 years lyrical;
- Erin O’kane - first place 8 years tap solo, Highly Commended 8 years jazz solo;
- Kaitlin MacIntosh - third place 16 years slow tap solo.
