Bumper numbers at tennis school holiday clinic

Whereas Matlida Ord explains it was a great way to meet new people outside of her regular private lessons.

And head coach, Cameron Phillips, confirms the Howe Park Tennis Club three-day holiday clinic was a resounding success.

“We had 49 kids attend on Monday, 47 on Tuesday and I have not checked the roll today,” he told The Argus during the final day of action.

He says it was pleasing to see an increase in numbers this time around, some new faces and the varied ages of participants.

“They were also a very well-behaved and an entertaining bunch of kids,” Phillips notes.
