Fire&Rescue NSW were called to Springdale Park in the early hours of Monday morning to find a truck well alight.
At about 5:03am firefighters arrived at the scene and it took 15 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
Fortunately, the fire was quickly contained as the park is in a residential area.
Police were also in attendance.
On Thursday three 15-year-old girls attended the Singleton Police station and admitted to causing the Mary Street house fire.
The fire destroyed the vacant dwelling on Monday night and it took more than two dozen firefighters – from Singleton, Branxton and Rutherford as well as Hunter Valley Police District officers – to extinguish the blaze.
It is believed the fire broke out at about 8.15pm with emergency services in attendance until 11pm.
Officer-in-charge Jo Shultz says they have been charged with causing malicious damage by fire and have been refereed under the Young Offender Act.
