Singleton Public School Students and teachers embrace Book Week: PHOTOS

Find your treasure is this year’s theme so there were plenty of pirates and shady looking characters at the Singleton Public School annual Book Week Parade on Thursday morning.

But there were also some very cute creations on show as the students could also come dressed up as their favourite character.

As the music played students from all grades showed off their creative side in the spirit of Book Week.

Their teachers also embraced the occasion, especially Mrs Black who did a convincing job of channeling the tyrannical principal – Agatha Trunchbull - from Matilda.

One student from each grade received a participation award which permitted them to select a book from the fair.
