I’ve loved my time working here and feel very sad to say goodbye but I am also excited about the future.
After 8 years of service, Sally leaves the team she has grown to know as an extended family to complete her degree in nursing, before she qualifies in twelve months.
While her departure is tinged with sadness, Sally says she is looking forward to the next chapter and beginning her nursing journey.
“I’ve loved my time working here and feel very sad to say goodbye but I am also excited about the future.
“The team here are such great people and get along so well I will genuinely miss them all,” begins Sally.
The mother of three says that she is looking forward to advancing her medical knowledge, with her experience at the Blooms the Chemist giving her a great inspiration to continue working in the field.
“I think I know every aspect of working here and have thoroughly enjoyed it all.
“I love assisting customers with their well being and the work I have undertaken has been confirmation for me that working to help people regain good health is my passion and so I’m thrilled to be heading into nursing.”
Owner Sung and the team at Blooms the Chemist welcome Helen as the new retail manager. Helen brings with her a wealth of experience and a background in retail management.
Sung commented,
“While we are very sad to see Sally go, it’s wonderful to see her advancing her career and pursuing her dreams.
“I’ve always encouraged development and I am delighted that she can now focus on the final year of her education before she embarks on her nursing career.”
“We will miss her but we also look forward to welcoming Helen to our team here and know that the customers will enjoy a great relationship with her, as they did Sally,” he said.
While Sally isn’t sure of the specific nursing path she will take, she is currently working in aged care a student nurse.
Her passion for helping people is evident and has been one of the most rewarding aspects of the last 8 years.
“The customers here in Singleton are lovely and it’s been an absolute pleasure to be able to assist them with their needs and see good outcomes during my time here at Blooms.”
