The Daniel Higgins-coached outfit faced Terrigal High School in the semi-final at Pirtek Park on Wednesday.
The local side was one of four – including their rivals, as well as Tumut and Lambton – to reach the penultimate round of the tournament.
And, buoyed by a big, vocal crowd, Singleton looked set to advance to the decider when Kobe Davies grabbed a converted try for a 6-0 lead.
That scoreline remained until the break.
The hosts then extended their margin to 12-0 after Maui Carroll touched down early in the second half.
Unfortunately for Singleton, Terrigal fought its way back into the clash and responded quickly to trail 12-8.
Another try, this time converted, pushed the visitors ahead 14-12 with 10 minutes remaining.
Singleton tried valiantly to bridge the gap, however Terrigal wrapped up the fixture in the dying stages.
