Its all starts this Friday and continues on Saturday.
Northern Agricultural Association (NAA), who organise the show held its launch on Tuesday night which also included a special presentation to long term volunteer and NAA member Allan Upward.
He has worked tirelessly at the show for decades helping out in every aspect of the annual event from cleaning pavilions prior to the show, manning the gates and working in the bistro.
NAA president David Williams thanked Allan for his dedication to the NAA and playing such a vital role ensuring the annual show is an outstanding success.
He received a 2018 Agricultural Shows Award from the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) medallion.
These awards were first offered in February 1871 but lapsed over the years and have now they have been reinstated to regional Show Societies who can nominate a worthy recipient for consideration.
Following the presentation two of the three showgirl entrants Abbie Samules and Rebecca Emberton were introduced by a former showgirl Susan Wakeford.
