“The course was pretty intense and it’s your legs that just want to give out,” Dylan said.
The champion duo smashed the muddy obstacle course in under record time. And “might put in some effort to train” according to Dylan, before they head off to the World Wife Carrying Finals in Finland 2019.
While the talented local team Josh Parrey and Abbi-Lee Paul came in close on the course, they were hands down the most supported (and maybe the most entertaining) duo with the communal crowd going crazy during their race.
Speechless after their effort from falling face first at the finish line, the pair were smiling through their heavy breaths, proud of conquering the course. “I hung on and managed to survive the spill,” Abbi says.
