On Friday night in front of a home crowd, he pulled off an impressive 88 point ride on Jack Frost to win the 2018 Glencore Singleton Show Bullride.
Then on Saturday, he secured second place at the PBR Rockhampton Invitational.
Heffernan says his performance at the Bullride moves him to number one when it comes to the ABCRA (Australian Bushmen’s Campdraft and Rodeo Association) standings.
“Jack Frost has been gaining a great reputation, I have seen him a few times and I knew he would be the bull to win on,” he says.
While his second place at Rockhampton keeps him in contention for another coveted PBR national tittle as he is currently ranked #4.
“A second place finish in Rocky moves me closer to the PBR national title and I am now 41 in the world,” says our home-grown champ.
