All proceeds will be passed on to Rural Aid, to be distributed to the farmers who need it most.
Mayor of Singleton, Cr Sue Moore said the format for the event would be similar to the successful Firelight held in April this year, with a live band, food trucks and the best in Hunter Valley cheeses and wines on offer on the Civic Green.
“Live music will come from VanderAa Band, which brings a range of different instruments such as didgeridoos, drum jams and a djembe (African drum) to perform a mix of original songs and covers so there’s something for everyone,” she said.
“The idea is to bring people together for a great night of fun and entertainment to demonstrate the support in our community for people affected by the drought, and I’m looking forward to seeing a big crowd.”
