A BIG team batting effort set the platform for PCH’s 53-run victory over Creeks in the Singleton District Cricket Association showdown at Cook Park 3 at the weekend.

With the side’s top five all contributing, along with Jake Daniels (34 not out), PCH amassed 6-191.
Opener Pat Denniss led the charge with 55, while Josh McNamara and Daniel Oldknow also chipped in with 35 and 28 respectively.
Jarred Campbell snared 2-21 and Graeme Unicomb took 2-37.
In reply, Creeks was in trouble early, slipping to 3-37.
Then Gavin Wake (50), Unicomb (32) and Mitch Bourke (21) gave the team a glimmer of hope.
But, the outfit lost its last six wickets for 38 to be all out for 138.
Oldknow bowled superbly to finish with 3-12 and was well-supported by Abe Jones (2-30).
At Howe Park, Glendon accounted for JPC in a low-scoring affair.
Ashley Borg (33) and Nick Stokes (15) were the only JPC players to reach double figures in the side’s total of 93.
Anthony Bailey captured 3-9 and Darren Allum picked up 3-31.
Glendon, despite being 3-25 at one stage, passed the mark with five wickets still in the shed.
Max Willis fell two runs short of a well-deserved 50, while Bailey added a further 11 to the tally.
Greg Thrift secured 2-12 and Brad Young returned 2-25.
