The day kicked off with our under 6’s being presented their trophies by our departing under 16’s. The youngest and newest club members looking up to the most senior players who move onto the senior club next season. Proud parents and supporters flooded the hill as team after team filed through to be presented with their prize.
Highlights of the day included the presentations to the under 10’s who scored a wheelbarrow full of awards including; ‘most consistent team’, ‘most points scored in a season’, and coach David Crossley being presented ‘Coach of the year’
The success of the day was further made possible by the gracious support of the Singleton Men’s Shed, who assisted with cooking the BBQ for the hungry hoards who eagerly scoffed the delicious sausages.
Congratulations to the committee members for hosting such a successful season of Junior Rugby League.
