Both students and teachers from King Street Public School engaged in the run to raise money to fund the gift to the school from the senior year six students.
Over $3,300 was raised leading up to the run, with Kindergarten classes competing for the highest amount.
Ultimately, KM came out on top with fundraising the most money and won them selves a pizza party to be held in the last few weeks of school.
Year six have plans for a brand new barbeque as their thank you gift.
