Three separate exhibitions are on display, including the 2018 Muswellbrook Local Art awards, featuring artists of Muswellbrook, Singleton and Upper Hunter areas.
The exhibition highlights the depth and breadth of artistic talent in the region. The annual art regional awards event is successful and popular. Past award recipients are a wonderful showcase of local big names, undiscovered talent and first timers.
Also on exhibition is Watters to Watters celebrating the connection between artist/collector Max Watters and the artworks he collected straight from the Watters Gallery.
Also on display is The Art of Creation - an exhibition of photographs of landscape art made from natural materials.
The free exclusive gallery viewing is organised by the Two More Trains for Singleton Group to highlight the benefits of more frequent train services to the Upper Hunter.
The exhibition is free – all you need is an Opal card to travel on the train.
The train departs Singleton 5.34 pm on Thursday 13 December 2018 arriving at Muswellbrook Station at 6.04 pm. The return train departs Muswellbrook 7.24 pm arriving Singleton 7.55 pm. The train leaves earlier from Hamilton, Maitland, and other Hunter Line stations.
