Hurdler Jordie Brown has declared that he's hungry for more success following his bronze medal success at the Little Athletics NSW State Championships.

The 13-year-old was the only member from the Singleton Track & Field Club to return from Sydney's Olympic Park with a medal thanks to a fast finish in the under-14 Boys 90m Hurdles.
"When you get to the podium you feel proud for the club you're representing and it feels great to know they're proud for me in return; the aim now is for more state medals," he stated.
"A gold would be nice but I have to just keep training and keep improving at the club until I'm 18 when junior level finishes."
Hunter Valley Grammar School Year 8 student initially came third in his heat and only just qualified for the seventh spot in the final.
"We were pretty happy when we got the news through that he qualified," his father Paul recalled.
"It was raining and we needed to find a spot to do a warm up without the full sprint so we found a place just slightly out of the weather and then he was ready to go."
The proud father also praised club officials this week.
"We're very thankful to receive so much support from the club and all the club members who were in Sydney during the event."
