Valley captain Daniel Storey believes the season decider will be a high scoring affair. "This will be a high scoring game and, similar to the T20 finals, it will also be an entertaining game for the crowds to watch," the reigning premiership captain declared.
Returning PCH star Jake Mackaway celebrated top tier success with Valley last year; he will now hope to go back to back. "This year, the score is 1-1 with both games being dominated by the winner," Storey added.
SDCA First Grade: Valley v PCH. Time: 12:30pm. Venue: Howe Park.
JPC will also be in search of back to back second grade titles at Cook Park 3. However they must hold off the Karl Bowd inspired Denman; an outfit looking for its maiden SDCA second grade.
SDCA Second Grade: JPC v Denman. Time: 12:30pm. Venue: Cook Park 3.
Valley, a third grade powerhouse hoping to collect 'minor, T20 and major premiership titles' this year; take on JPC and has won four of their five clashes this year.
SDCA Third Grade: Valley v JPC. Time: 1pm. Venue: Cook Park 5.
If this weekend is affected by wet weather, the following Saturday is set aside as a reserve date. However, if any games do start this weekend, they cannot be moved to reserve date if wet weather washes out the game. Presentation of all trophies from the season and premiership trophies will take place at 7pm.
