We continue by previewing Saturday's top tier decider between minor premier Valley and PCH at Howe Park at 12.30pm.
SDCA boss Daniel Storey will hope to guide Valley to a second straight title while Jackson Cox will hope to become his club's first (top tier) premiership captain since Warren Gillespie back in 2002.
The opposing leaders joined us to share a few predictions ahead of the decider:
PLAYER TO WATCH AND WHY?
Daniel Storey: Daniel Oldknow because he's 'The Shane Watson of Singleton Cricket'.
Jackson Cox: Bags (Nathan Bagnal) because of the damage he can do with the bat early in the innings.
WHAT ARE YOUR CROWD EXPECTATIONS?
DS: Hoping for a large crowd support similar to T20 final.
JC: Hoping if we get a nice day we get a decent crowd.
WHAT WEATHER WOULD SUIT YOUR SIDE ON SATURDAY?
DS: Sunny and Dry.
JC: Anything but rain. Please!
TEAMMATE MOST LIKELY TO GO OUT FOR A DUCK?
DS: Sam Barry - for this reason, he will be our non-batter.
JC: Macca, but will make up for it with the ball.
TEAMMATE MOST LIKELY TO DROP A CATCH?
DS: Troy Barnett, he has got a history of dropping catches over the boundary for six.
JC: Probably me the way I've been catching this year.
TEAMMATE MOST LIKELY TO TAKE MONDAY OFF WORK?
DS: Myself, I know the guy who does the rosters.
JC: If we win I'm making everyone take Monday off.
TEAMMATE MOST LIKELY TO READ ABOUT HIMSELF IN THE SINGLETON ARGUS?
DS: Nathan Bagnall. Rumour has it, last week's rankings are already laminated and hanging in the Pool Room.
JC: Probably Pat or my brother (Bradley).
HEADLINE WE ARE LIKELY TO SEE IN THE SINGLETON ARGUS?
DS: Batters dominate grand final thriller.
JC: PCH break the drought.
HEADLINE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN THE SINGLETON ARGUS?
DS: Valley go back to back.
JC: Jake Daniels take 7-15 in grand final.
FINAL PREDICTION?
DS: 500 run match, two centuries in the game and a Valley victory.
JC: Thinking it will be a close game as both teams have won convincingly against each other this season so we're due for a tight game.
