The eight-year-old male had been injured after he was rolled on by a large horse on a property at Long Point.
Early indications is that the little boy is in a satisfactory condition and he will be conveyed by helicopter to the John Hunter Hospital after the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team prepares him for the 17 minute flight.
