Singleton Track and Field Club officials have voiced their frustration towards vandals who have continued to bury large quantities of glass in the Long Jump and Triple Jump pits at Alroy Reserve.

"Unfortunately with a public oval it is hard to ensure this does not happen," one spokesperson told the Singleton Argus.
Please be mindful if you are using the pits with your children outside of club or school events that you check them for glass.

"We had to pick chunks of glass out of pit at the secondary upper hunter zone carnival on Friday," the statement continued.
"We are very lucky nobody that nobody was injured as glass was well under the surface.
"And the sand was only just donated.
"Its pretty embarrassing, our oval is a zone centre for primary and secondary schools, plus our local carnivals."
