And, it's one of the reasons why he's been a driving force behind the Where There's a Will (WTAW) round, which kicks off this weekend in Bengalla Hunter Valley Group 21 Rugby League.
The concept is now in its third year - and drawn high praise, especially from the likes of NRL CEO Todd Greenberg, who's attended previous editions.
However, there's a bit of a twist in 2019.
While every club - Aberdeen, Denman, Greta Branxton, Merriwa, Murrurundi, Muswellbrook, Scone and Singleton - will participate over Saturday and Sunday, the defending premiers, the Thoroughbreds, will host a Magic Round at Scone Park on Saturday, June 29.
That's 35 games on the one program.
"We're doing something slightly different this season," Mr Reynolds said.
"From the under-6s through to the top grade, they're taking the field on the same day.
"For the first time ever, we'll have fathers, daughters, mothers, sons, sisters and brothers all playing in Scone in support of wellbeing and highlighting that we're all in this together.
"It will be a great celebration of rugby league, as well as the opportunity to raise money - and awareness - for WTAW.
"It's been a dream of mine for the past four or five years to get something like this up and running.
"Through a lot of help from all clubs and, in particular Jason Croucher from Scone JRLFC, it's come to fruition.
"People told us it couldn't be done, but we've achieved it - thanks to perseverance and hard work.
"I'd also like to express my gratitude to the Scone Brumbies Rugby Union Club for relocating their senior showdown so Group 21 can use their field, too.
"I'm really looking forward to the weekend."
Mr Reynolds said there were many parallels between the game of rugby league and what WTAW brought to the table.
"It's all about supporting each other and being there for everyone," he explained.
"Once you stop talking on the field, you're guaranteed to lose the match.
"And, to some extent, it's the same in life.
"If you stop talking to your mates, or your family members, you'll struggle.
"It is just fantastic what the foundation, and in particular Pauline and Hilton Carrigan, has achieved.
"But, we want to emphasise that making a difference requires everyone's input.
"Through the Positive Education initiatives that WTAW funds and supports in our schools and community, we are helping to show that there are steps we can all take to help prevent the onset of mental illness and improve wellbeing.
"I can't thank the Upper Hunter enough.
"We can put all these ideas forward; however, the community needs to embrace it.
"And, they certainly have."
Other games to be played over the weekend include the Mavericks facing the Magpies at Wilson Memorial Oval from 3.10pm on Saturday and the Tigers tackling the Devils at 2pm at McKinnon Field on Sunday.
Singleton, Denman, Aberdeen, Murrurundi, Muswellbrook and Merriwa will auction their jerseys at a later date, with all funds raised to support Positive Education initiatives in their own communities.
