This year's sale team consists of two Brahman Bulls (one polled), and three stylish young Brahman females.
Banarra Brahmans aim, as always, is to provide the Kempsey cattlemen and women, with the same consistency and style of cattle, that they have supplied to the Kempsey All Breeds sale for the past 6 years.
Ash from Banarra Brahmans said,
"We have bred Brahmans for over 27 years and have been focusing on temperament and carcass quality.
"You would have to say a more early maturing, thicker type Brahman that will thrive in our coastal conditions."
Given the current tough conditions in the season and as in previous years, Ash confirmed that their cattle are for sale on the day, and that he will be meeting the market to get their bulls and heifers out and into the paddocks of the Kempsey beef producers.
"Our cattle will be for sale from the opening bid; if you bid on our cattle, you will be taking them home."
Brahmans are now recognised in the Kempsey area and are used successfully, with the breed prospering in the coastal environment, coping well with increasing parasites and the changing climatic conditions.

For this year's sale, 2 Bulls have been selected which will do well in breeding programs, especially when cross-breeding with British Bred cattle as per the above note.
Capturing the use of hybrid vigour, to achieve good growth rates for production of the ideal F1 Female or Beef Bred Weaners for all market categories.
There will also be 3 stud females on offer. The females are approximately two and a half years old, with outstanding temperaments and have also been pregnancy tested in calve (up to seven months) to leading stud sires purchased by Banarra from the Brahman World Congress in 2016.
With phone calls and or pre-inspections at the farm more than welcome, Ash said consistency was their ultimate goal.
"We want to come back to the Kempsey sale year after year, so the presentation of our top quality Brahman cattle is consistently our aim."
