Moments after tonight's NRL State of Origin series decider came to an end victorious NSW Blues captain Boyd Cordner added to the tributes for the victims of the Britliffe Close house fire.

"It was a tragic incident which happened up there in Singleton," Cordner said while sitting alongside the Channel Nine commentary team during the post-match coverage.
Prior to tonight's 26-20 decider at ANZ Stadium the NSW Blues playing group confirmed they would donate their jerseys to help raise funds for the Singleton family.
The tragedy saw three children killed, 11-year-old Blake Atkins and five-year-old twins Scarlett and Matylda Rinkin, while their 31-year-old mother Kara Atkins and her eight-year-old daughter Bayley were rescued by neighbours.
"They were footy tragics who just loved their footy," Cordner explained.
"So we thought it was right to do something.
"We know its not going to help the pain of their loss but hopefully it goes a long way to helping them out in any way that we can."
Cordner's Rooster teammate James Tedesco was awarded the Wally Lewis medal after scoring the winning try tonight with 32 seconds to go.
