The reigning Singleton Open champion held a six-shot lead going into today's final round.
His four-over-par performance at the Belmont Golf Course this afternoon was a minor blemish on an otherwise dominant campaign; holding off Queenslander Samuel Slater (runner up) by four shots overall.
"I missed a tap in on the 17th hole," Lamb told Golf NSW on Thursday night.
"I would have been leading by seven, but that's how it goes, I guess."
Queenslander Louis Dobbelaar finished with the best score of the final round.
His three late birdies saw him finish two-under-par for the day to finish sixth overall.
