Singleton Greyhounds president Jye Bayley has praised the efforts of NSW Blues' captain Boyd Cordner this morning after his side confirmed they would donate their jerseys to help raise funds for the victims of the Brittliffe Close house fire.

"It shows what kind of bloke Boyd Cordner is to do something like that," Bayley told the Singleton Argus.
The tragedy saw three children killed while their 31-year-old mother Kara Atkins and her eight-year-old daughter Bayley were rescued by neighbours.
By 7.30pm on Sunday, when the auctions for the jerseys came to a close, an additional $55,796 was raised for the family.
So far $261,795 (as of 10.30am) has also been raised through a GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign to help the family rebuild their lives.
"And the NSW players went over to Blake's teammates after the win so that was pretty special," Bayley added.
"They'll need continued support through this tough time and that'll go a long way with those kids doing it tough."
Wally Lewis medallist James Tedesco saw his jersey climb from a $1,484 bid on the night of NSW's victorious series deciding win to $7,575 by 4.30pm yesterday.
Cordner's jersey was also sold for $4,525 with a late bid placed in the auction's closing minutes.
