The PPK Singleton Greyhounds completed a nostalgic weekend in fine style with three wins last Sunday on the back of a series of premiership re-unions last Saturday evening at the Albion Hotel.

The Ourcare First Grade team put the cleaners through a depleted Denman side to the tune of 84-0.
Having been on the receiving end in its past two games against premiership favourites Scone, it was the Dog's turn to grab hold of the whip handle on this occasion.
The win also coincided with the return of key members of the spine with James Bradley and Thomas Johnson finding their way back into the side and it made a remarkable difference in particular to the teams attack.
The real star this week was Brodie Rinkin who has been a revelation in the top grade in the back half of the year in numerous positions.
This time it was from the interchange bench on his way to scoring five well-crafted tries in a dominant individual performance.
Rinkin posted three of those tries in the opening half helping the Dog's to a 32-nil halftime lead with tries also going the way of Dale Watson, Morgan Amidy and Thomas Johnson.
Will Neiwenhuise landed 11 goals from 13 attempts in difficult conditions during the game to prove again how valuable he is to this side.
As stated the Devils were very understrength and were looking to show more grit in the second half however a Singleton try within 16 seconds of the restart was a further sign of things to come as Singleton racked up a further 52 points in 40 minutes.
Tries to Jake Smith, Cody Argent, Morgan Amidy, James Bradley, Ethan Coe, Nelson Gardiner and a final effort to Zac Solman brought the big Old Boys crowd to rapturous applause.
Big Frank Paul Nu'uausala is a handful at the best of times and he was toying with the opposition by offloading at will for his team mates.
He is very much about the team more than any personal accolades or sense of entitlement a player of his status brings and is quietly nurturing and mentoring many of the young players in this side.
Of course results like this is not a great look for any competition and there is now a big gap between the top and the bottom in what has become a four team competition and places the Group's survival in its current format under increasing pressure.
Hopefully this year is just an aberration and a six team competition can be restored in 2020.
In the other First grade contest Aberdeen got within a converted try at home against Scone losing 32 - 26 and now it's the Greyhounds turn to play Aberdeen this weekend at McKinnon Field.
In Reserve grade the Remondis group side overcame an early 4 - 0 deficit to win 30 - 4 against the Murrurundi Mavericks.
It was a real solid display from Alex Ferrie's men and to keep the opposition scoreless for more than an hour is a great sign as the business end of the season.
The Dog's points came via doubles to Christian Kirby and Logan Rutter with youngster Blake O'Dell and Ian Lane also chipping in for tries with three goals to Tyson Cullen.
The side is now in outright third position on the ladder and can seal a semi-final berth with a win over a desperate but improving Muswellbrook side just a few points away in fifth spot.
The Singleton Tyre Centre Under 18's look to be in a purposeful mood on the weekend and put on a disciplined performance to account for Denman by 37-6.
The Dog's led 16-nil at the break with tries coming the way of Jackson Amidy, Josh Johnson and Tom Caita-Mandra.
Singleton's big men were pouring through the middle of the ruck and the support play was also a feature of the win. Second half tries to Beau Parnell, Corey Eslick, Aiden Partridge-Smith and Marcus Cowley sealed a strong win.
Liam Harris's steady boot landed four goals and a field goal to again highlight his great all round game.
A few of the old boys commented on the performances of the edge forwards led by Jackson Shade, they liked what they saw!
The Entire Concrete Ladies League-tag side may not have won on the scoreboard but they showed great spirit against a classy Murrurundi side in another performance where the 20-4 scoreboard wasn't a true reflection of the contest.
Murrurundi held a slender 8-4 lead at the break with Singleton's lone try-scorer being Piper Francis.
It wasn't until the closing stages of the games that the Mavettes scored two quick tries to take the game.
It all goes on the line this Saturday against Muswellbrook if they are to tip them out of fourth spot and we wish them the best of luck in doing just that.
