Singleton Strikers' first grade captain Hayden Nicol believes his men can finish the season with two wins starting with their final home clash.

"We've been playing pretty good footy with a fair few out injured so it would be good to finish the year off with two wins," he told the Singleton Argus.
"It's the last home game of the season and old boys day so it's a good opportunity to put a show on for some of the past players and all the people behind the scenes, all the volunteers and committee, that continue to put in the effort so we can get out on the park."
The Strikers will play host to Thorton this afternoon.
"We had two draws against them last year and managed to get a win against them midweek in the first round," Nicol added.
"Dave Willoughby and their coach Gary Wand have a running battle.
"They used to coach together back in the day so it's a good chance to get a one-up on him."
