Talented junior golfers from across the region are braving wild winds this morning while competing at the Singleton Junior Open.

While play is now underway, the host club has already celebrated a hole-in-one major sponsor for the event in Tradecore Industries.

Representatives Barry Hebbard (Managing Director) and Murray Considine (Task Coordinator) told the Singleton Argus that they're delighted to be recognised as the naming right sponsor for the state's biggest regional junior golf tournament.

"A majority of our blokes are over the age of 35, married with a couple of kids so we want to support those junior sports," Hebbard said in April.

"We sponsor cricket, soccer and footy teams from as far as Gunnedah and this is just another sponsorship for us and we're looking forward to it."
