Judging day may have been pleasant but the trip home proved a challenge for some with snow and ice affecting road in the New England and Gloucester tops.
Grand champion Limousin bull was the junior champion 12 months old Berdihold Playboy exhibited by Kat Gelderman, Berdihold stud, Lochinvar.
The Edwards family, Little Manning Devon stud, Gloucester won both the bull and female champion ribbons.
In the Murray Grey judging the reserve Junior Champion Bull was Rouchelle Primetime P120 Sire: Carlinga Linebacker exhibited Lyn and Paul Richards, McCullys Gap, near Muswellbrook.
Local steer exhibitors including St Joseph's High School Aberdeen received a number of placings in the highly competitive led steer and carcase classes.
