It's almost time for the 147th annual Glencore Singleton Show, hosted by the Northern Agricultural Association - who last year celebrated 150 years since establishment. There's an action packed program of events again this year, with plenty of entertainment for all members of the family. Sideshow Alley opens on Friday at 10am with plenty of rides to keep the little kids (and big ones!) amused for hours.

The kids will be kept busy with reptile displays, the animal nursery, showbags, face-painting, plus a visit from Rexie the 6 month old baby T-Rex, and Cera the 2 week old Triceratops! Rexie is 4 metres long, 2.5 metres tall, and his realistic movements and sounds will have you wondering if dinosaurs really are extinct.
Friday night take a seat ringside for the Glencore Singleton Show Bullride from 6:30pm. Watch all the thrills and spills, with some of Australia's best bulls and top riders.
Enjoy a meal from the bistro, a drink from the bar, and then stay to rock on with music from our very special guest 'The Jay Seeney Band' playing live, straight after the last bull bucks.
Saturday sees Horse Events in the ring as well as Working Dog Trials and Beef Cattle judging. Don't miss the Official Show Opening at 2pm with special guest - Mr Robert Ryan OAM, President of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS).
After the Official Show Opening will be the reveal of the Singleton Showgirl winner, woodchop events, the Young Farmers Challenge, sheep shearing displays, post-split events, dance performances and who could forget the Show favourite - the Crawford's Australian Wife Carrying Titles! Contestants enter the Australian Wife Carrying Titles from all over the nation and it's no wonder.
First prize is a travel package to Finland to compete in the World Wife Carrying Championships in 2020! Entries are now open.
But without a doubt the crowd favourite this year will be the famous Rooftop Express and 'The Brumby Muster' Show. A first class arena spectacular that features awe-inspiring horsemanship, world first stunts and true blue Australian comedy.
The Rooftop team saddle up with an all-star line-up of horses, dogs, cattle and their unmistakably blue IVECO trucks on Saturday evening, with a show that is sure to get hearts racing and whips cracking.
But don't make plans to leave before the excitement of the Fireworks display, and of course the kid's favourite, the Demolition Derby. Tickets are $15 for adults, pensioners $10, child 13-16 years $10, 5-12 years $5, and under 5 years free. Family passes are $40.
